Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Great Faith (the "Service"), operated by Great Faith Studios ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Great Faith. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@greatfaith.com.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or otherwise abuse the Service.

Not professional advice

The Great Faith tools — including the Spiritual Gifts assessment, the Spiritual Health check-in, and the Marriage Health check-in — are reflective resources for encouragement and conversation. They are not medical, psychological, or professional marriage counseling, and they are not a diagnosis of anything. If you or your marriage are in crisis, please seek help from a licensed professional, a pastor, or emergency services.

Your content and results

You retain ownership of the content you create on Great Faith, including your assessment answers and results ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process it for the purpose of operating the Service — including producing your reports and, where your church has enabled a tool, the de-identified congregation trends described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for Your Content. Do not submit content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, contains malware, or harasses other users.

Sharing and church features

  • Your individual results are private by default. Sharing with a spouse or pastor is always your explicit choice, and you can revoke it at any time.
  • A couple's growth summary appears only when both spouses opt in. Only invite someone who is actually your spouse.
  • Church invite links connect accounts to a church. If you lead a church on Great Faith, you agree to use the care features responsibly and to treat what members share with you as confidential pastoral information.
  • Invite links (congregation and leader) are unguessable URLs but are not protected by login until accepted. Leader invites are single-use and expire.

Giving

Gifts made through the Service are donations to Great Faith Studios, processed by Stripe. Except where required by law, donations are non-refundable — if you believe a gift was made in error, contact us and we will work with you in good faith.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Impersonate another person — including taking a marriage check-in as, or on behalf of, someone else.
  • Use invite links or church features to gain access to information someone has not chosen to share with you.
  • Scrape, mass-collect, or otherwise abuse the Service or its API.
  • Bypass rate limits, spam invitations, or send unsolicited communications.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
  • Submit content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, or sexually explicit.

Intellectual property

The Great Faith name, logo, design, assessments, and software are owned by Great Faith Studios and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. We do not grant any other rights.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or that any data you submit will not be lost. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Great Faith Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or on this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
